While unmedicated birth may not be the desired outcome for all, this class allowed us to have an assertive, knowledgable and positive birth experience in a hospital when the time came.”

“Cara did an amazing job with my placenta! She made the process very convenient for me and my family following my birth. She was very communicative and quick! I noticed a huge difference from my first postpartum experience (no placenta pills) and my second postpartum (taking placenta pills from Selah birth services.) My mood, thoughts and temperament were much more peaceful while taking placenta pills vs more anxiety and mood swings when I did not. Very thankful that Cara made the placenta encapsulation process such a no brainer for me and made my postpartum experience more peaceful. Highly recommend!”

“Last September (2023), Cara George helped me by taking my placenta and making it into pill capsules I could take over the course of the first few weeks of my postpartum. She was incredibly easy to get in touch with and came over at a convenient time for me the day after I gave birth. Cara went above and beyond in asking if I wanted artwork made from the placenta, which is beautiful because I now have a picture of the organ that sustained my baby for 9 months. With my first child (2021), I did not know this service existed and I am so grateful to Cara for providing this service, as I believe taking the placenta capsules helped me regulate my hormones and helped me feel better faster than I would have without it. 5 out 5 stars!”
